If you want to play divinity in another room on a tv I’d suggest looking into a steam box since you already have a pc capable of playing it, and it would cost the same as buying the game again I believe. Unfortunately there is no manual control over backing up and restoring saves, and there is no way to manually back up saves.
I would expect that your saves would be associated with your main profile, not the debug profile, but it sounds like it is the other way around for you. Larian studios isn’t as big as Bethesda so I don’t think they’d have the resources to do so.
